Rolls Gracie, Carlos Gracie Sr.'s son was trained by Helio Gracie and was considered one of the best Jiu-Jitsu Black belts of all times referred as the guru by the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Community because of his vision and great techniques. Rolls was considered one of the first to begin to integrate the techniques of other martial arts into Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Rolls died at the young age of 32 in a hang-gliding accident; his teachings and legacy as a fighter will live on.

Rolls Gracie can be seen defending the Gracie name against black belt karate practitioners in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu In Action Volume 1.
